Affiliate Huddle is returning to London for the second time this year. The free to attend affiliate marketing conference organised by rough agenda brings together networks, agencies, publishers and merchants for a day of networking, insightful speaking sessions and panel discussions.
Taking place on the 25th of November at Rainmaking Loft, the event itself has a brilliant agenda lined up. Our MD Helen Southgate will be taking part in the ‘ask the networks’ panel at 4.30pm. Also dubbed ‘the grilling of the networks’ the panel itself will see 5 senior decision makers from UK networks discuss key industry topics in a Q&A style format. This is a great opportunity for publishers, advertisers and agencies to put forward their burning questions directly to the senior decision makers at the networks.

I attended the first affiliate huddle earlier in the year and really enjoyed it. There was a real buzz about the event which took me back to the earlier years of affiliate marketing when we really were at the forefront of digital. This event promises to be just as good and I’m looking forward to being on a panel alongside the other UK networks for the “grill the networks” session. I’ve been saying for a while I wanted to see something like this where publishers, advertisers and agencies are given the opportunity to put their burning questions to us directly. I think I’ll enjoy being in the hot seat and hoping my suggestion of having no prior knowledge of the questions is taken up, as it will make for a lively debate.

In July this year I had the pleasure to attend the very first Affiliate Huddle event. This one-day event was an exciting opportunity to learn about the latest industry trends and hear opinions and visions for the channel going forward. The day unfolded around short talks and panels covering hot topics from an advertiser perspective. In between the sessions, delegates had the chance to meet in the mail hall, to nibble and network.
Having attended few events similar to this one, I can say that Affiliate Huddle was one of the most interesting to me as an account manager. First because of the quality of the chosen speakers and panels, but also because of its intensive one-day format focusing on advertisers issues specifically. I personally found the event’s “family size” really enjoyable, facilitating engagement from the audience during the conferences as well as networking during the breaks.
I’m looking forward to the second Affiliate Huddle event next week and I truly recommend our clients and partners to attend.
