BlogStock 2015

Last weekend we attended the world’s only blogger specific festival, BlogStock. This year we were lucky enough to sponsor the event, giving us the opportunity to meet a range of bloggers whilst attending some of the 40 insightful sessions and seminars on offer. In attendance were 250 bloggers ready to network and attend a range of workshops and talks on blogging, new technologies, social media and new advances in blogging niches. The event had plenty of activities, entertainment, food and drink.

The affilinet blogger café provided attendees with freshly brewed artisan coffee throughout the event which was particularly popular in the less than preferable weather conditions (lots of wind and rain)! Our team were also on hand to give attendees tips on how to make money from their blog and discuss the tools available to bloggers on the affilinet platform.

On the second day we hosted an affilinet brunch for 30 bloggers, who talked to the team about opportunities in affiliate marketing whilst indulging in some homemade brownies, pastries and fruit. All attendees received an affilinet goodie bag and were entered into our raffle for a Hotel Chocolat Hamper. Congratulations to April Wilson, who won the Hotel Chocolat- Large Chocolatier’s table through our raffle.

During the event we ran a photography competition, #BlogShots which encouraged Bloggers to share their favourite BlogStock moments on twitter. Three lucky winners were awarded with an Autographer camera and eight runners up received a £25 Amazon voucher. Congratulations to Jessica, Emily and Lela for winning the cameras and Thomas, Penny, Katy, Jenny, Leanne, Macca and Jodie for winning £25 Amazon vouchers.
