Sandals luxury travel store launch

Post Type

A couple of weeks ago, a few members of the affilinet team attended the launch of the first Sandals stand-alone luxury travel store in South Kensington. One thing that can be said after the opening was that we all left desperately wanting to book a holiday!4668055

Karl Thompson, MD of Sandals gave a talk halfway through the evening, explaining the concept behind the store and how Sandals wants to give every visitor a taste of what would be in store for a holiday in one of their 5 star resorts. With each section of the store designed like a room from each of the different resorts, you are given a glimpse of what that would be like. There was also a very good speech given by Robert Watson, a representative of The International Guild of Butlers. He talked about the level of service that is provided for guests from the moment they step foot in the resort, until they checkout.

There were rum tastings, complete with dark chocolate, and traditional Caribbean food served. With an impromptu performance given by secret singers disguised as waiters and a trip to Grenada that were up for grabs, the evening was an entertaining one enjoyed by all the attendees. The whole ambience and set-up definitely felt worlds away from rainy London!

Sandals and Beaches have their 2 for 1 sale on their Luxury Included® Holidays until the 24th May 2016. To find out more about the Sandals offer, click here. To find out more about the Beaches offer, click here.
