Sky and NOWTV affiliate day

On the 24th September, Sky & NOW TV hosted their first affiliate day with affilinet. Overlooking the Thames and the Globe Theatre, the Swan served as the perfect gathering space for the morning’s presentations. Over 40 publishers attended the day and were given the opportunity to learn more about the two programs and our goals for the future.

The day started with a welcome by Helen Southgate, MD of affilinet UK who introduced the Sky team and shared how excited affilinet is to be the exclusive affiliate network of both programs.

She was followed by Emran Kamal, Senior Affiliate Marketing Manager, who presented Sky’s previous quarter’s results and our shared objectives for the next quarter. He was also joined by Will Evans, a member of Sky’s brand team who provided great insight to Sky’s products. Publishers came away with a strong understanding of Sky’s Movie and Sports packages and their individual offerings.

The day continued with a brief overview of affilinet’s new technology offerings and introduction of NOW TV by Jenna Pain, Senior Digital Media Manager and Adam Buckley, Affiliate Manager. Publishers were introduced to the NOW TV offerings and the ideal target market for each. Richard Pallister, Brand Development Manager, then presented the history of NOW TV and how they fit within the marketplace.

After a fantastic lunch from the Swan, guests embarked on a scavenger hunt around London to spend time getting to know the Sky, NOW TV and affilinet team members. Prizes were awarded to the first (SPACED 360 Portable Speakers), second (NOW TV Box) and third place teams (Monthly NOW TV Pass). Congratulations to all the winners!

Teams finished the night with refreshing drinks and canapés at Bird of Smithfield.

Many thanks to all who attended and took part in the Sky and NOWTV affiliate day, we look forward to seeing you for the next event!
