Getting to know Sophie Beagrie…Account Manager, affilinet.

Sophie BSophie has recently moved to London to join the affilinet team. I decided to ask her a few questions about her role, find out more below.

You recently joined the affilinet team…what do you think so far?
It’s been fantastic, everyone has been extremely welcoming. The team are strong and focused, yet they are all extremely helpful and are more than happy to dedicate time to one another, I can definitely see why the office holds such a positive ambiance.
Tell us a bit about your new role and what it involves?
I’m working within the Account Management team and taking care of the Thomas Cook UK programme and its various brands. My role is to understand, develop and deliver goals and objectives, ensuring that there is a clear and consistent delivery of strategy between the TC team, affilinet and publishers, whilst also looking for new exciting opportunities to drive incremental sales for Thomas Cook.
What advice would you give to affiliates looking to work with Thomas Cook?
Travel is a strong market within the Affiliate world. Thomas Cook are continually pushing new promotions and offers, unique content should therefore be created and updated regularly to coincide with this movement, I would also recommend for any affiliate to be creative in promoting their offers to ensure we reach new customers and generate interaction and sales.
What attracted you to the industry?
Affiliate marketing is such a young innovate channel. I believe it’s important to constantly develop your own knowledge and skills whilst also educating your clients, and this channel gives you the opportunity to make a big impact!
What is the last thing you purchased online?
The last thing I purchased online was my one way ticket to London! Alongside starting at affilinet, I have also just relocated to London- an extremely exciting and vibrant city from a small northern ‘ghost-town’ where I used to call home!
Finally how would you describe yourself in 3 words?
Focused, ambitious and positive.
