Getting to Know… Ian Cruickshank at Digitalbox

How would you describe yourself in three words?
Organised, Hard working, Personable

Tell us a bit about your role at digitalbox.
It’s down to me to manage and deliver the sales strategy and growth for digitalbox, we are a fast growing company with big ambitions. I’m the main point of contact for key clients, agencies and networks to discuss and consult on varying campaigns for our lead generation, data and emailing network businesses. I like to focus on building strong and long lasting relationships with existing and new contacts, I work hard to maximize the revenue and performance on every campaign and opportunity and work closely with the internal team to ensure great service and deliverability.

You are a renowned sales person with the awards to prove it so what motivates you?
My family first and foremost and like most people that work in sales, I just love working in sales, building relationships, consulting, closing – it’s a great buzz.

digitalbox is based in Bath Somerset, what’s the best thing about working there?
Bath is such a beautiful place, buildings, history, good shops, but it is where digitalbox is based, it’s a great place to work.

In such a competitive marketplace, how does digitalbox’s value proposition differ from other performance marketing agencies out there?
We are a small proactive team which uses our fantastic experience and expertise to deliver hundreds of thousands of quality leads for our clients on a performance basis. Performance marketing, marketing performance, whichever way you cut it, we specialize in creating exceptional awareness, customer and value for big and small businesses.

We hear you’re a football fan. Which footballers would you play 5-a-side with?
Being an Arsenal fan (I know, I know), I would love to play football with some Arsenal legends:

What are your plans for making the most of the rest of the summer?
Having just come back from a 10 day trip to Tunisia, I’m going to enjoy the Olympics over the next two weeks of Summer and then get another holiday booked.
