Getting to know Gemma Crozier, Affiliate Marketing Executive, Red Letter Days

Gemma has worked at Red Letter Days for nearly 9 years, working on both the customer and marketing side of the business.  I interviewed Gemma to find out more about her role and Red Letter Days. Find out more below.

As Affiliate Marketing Executive, what does your role at Red Letter Days involve?

Predominantly the role is Affiliate Marketing. However, as we are a small company I have been able to get involved with the other parts of online such as PPC, Re-targeting, Prospecting, Group Buying and Product Reviews. Lots to keep me busy!

Tell us about  your typical working day, what does it involve?

I don’t think anyone in the Performance Marketing industry can say there is a typical working day. The industry is so fast moving that it makes every working day different – except Monday’s…that’s our reporting day!

How long have you worked in the performance marketing industry? How did you get started in the digital industry?

In June 2010 I started getting involved with the Affiliate Marketing channel at Red Letter Days, moving over full time after the Christmas period that year. So I have now been in the Performance Marketing Industry for the past 4 years.

Tell us a bit about Red Letter Days- what are your unique selling points?

What are the 2014 goals at Red Letter Days- how do these fit into the digital marketing mix?

The main goal this year was to align the digital marketing plan, in order to send out a consistent message on all channels. In doing this we have the same messaging being relayed through Onsite promotions, Email, Social, Affiliate Marketing, PPC and SEO, resulting in a stronger brand image.

And finally…what was the last purchase you made online?

A T-shirt from Lastexittonowhere for the other half!
