With the British Gas adverts announcing their partnership we’ve been seeng a lot of Nectar recently. Everyone is familiar with the countries most popular loyalty programme and we wanted to get to know their Head of E-Commerce Maureen McDonagh a little more too.

Lots of holidays through Expedia and plenty of books to read on holiday with Amazon!
Do you think there is anything networks could be doing to support your business goals in 2011?
Networks could go one step further by providing insight into industry trends. As a publisher you only see your own results and the world from your point of view whereas the networks have visibility across all their merchants, multiple sectors and across all types of publisher and it would be great to understand industry standards to benchmark our performance.
What’s the best thing for you working in the partnerships and affiliate industry?
Results driven, challenging and fast paced plus, you get to meet lots of interesting people across so many sectors and backgrounds.
