Getting to Know, Megan Cleary, Account Executive, affilinet

meganMegan recently joined our team all the way from the USA. I decided to ask her a few questions about her role and see how she is settling in to life in London, find out more below.

You recently joined affilinet what do you think so far? Was it what you expected?

I absolutely love it so far. Everyone has been really welcoming and helped me to feel involved and a part of the team immediately.

Tell us a bit about your new role and what it involves?

I am working as a part of the advertiser support team with some of our smaller self-managed clients. My goal is to make sure they all feel looked after, knowing that even though they are small, affilinet will make sure someone is there to answer every question and request.

How would you describe yourself in 3 words?

Social, fun-loving and dedicated

What attracted you to the industry?

I think that it is always changing. What works for one client may not work for another. You really have to listen to the market to create a plan that works.

What do you love most about affiliate marketing

Can I say the people? Everyone involved is young and vibrant. I also think that affiliate marketing is so fresh, there is always change on the horizon and new websites or opportunities to explore.

You recently moved over to London from the US how are you finding the new city?

I will always be the American in the office but London has really become my second home. I think the mix between history, culture, good food and shopping makes it a great place to spend your 20’s.

Finally, what was the last thing you purchased online?

A Kate Spade phone case. I have a huge addiction to her whole line and never leave the house without at least one piece! Plus they have the greatest midseason sale.
