Serena TempSerena joined our team at the beginning of this year as a Sales and Marketing Executive. I decided to find out more about her role at affilinet and what attracted her to the digital industry.

You recently joined affilinet, what do you think so far?
Well coming from a retail and fashion background, it is all so new to me but everyone’s been really friendly and helpful settling me in to the role. I’m finding it all so interesting especially retail digital marketing, checking out the best ways to shop as this is my weakness. I feel so privileged to work with a great supportive team, everyone’s so enthusiastic and work so well together, like a little family.

Tell us a bit about your new role and what it involves?
I am a Sales and Marketing Executive providing support for both the sales and marketing team. My main role is to help with administration tasks throughout both roles. My main Marketing responsibilities consist of managing affilinet’s social media accounts, event planning and assisting with the creation of marketing materials- online and offline. For the Sales side, I will be the first point of contact for all inbound sales enquiries and one day I hope to make sales for the team.

How would you describe yourself in 3 words?
Creative, Outgoing and a Shopaholic

What was the last thing you purchased online?
Shoes – Size 2, this is the only place I can ever find them.

Finally…What websites do you like to browse on in your lunch break?
Retail shopping sites mostly as I love to see what’s new and see what I can buy next.
