affilinet release single-click deep link generator

Calling all affiliates… we are happy to announce the recent release of the affilinet single-click deep link generator on the Mozilla portal.

The Firefox plug-in enables affiliates to create deep link URLs for products of their choice on a merchant’s website, so they can link their promotions directly to the relevant pages rather than to a more generic page on the merchant’s site. The deep link is published immediately within the status bar under the webpage that the affiliate is viewing.

The plug-in also provides a quick overview of the status of affiliate’s account including the amount of commission earned and number of open and confirmed orders. Individual affiliates can adjust their settings so the toolbar only displays the information they need.

The Firefox plug-in can be installed from the Mozilla portal in a matter of minutes and sits in the status bar at the bottom of your browser.

We continually develop our tools and are considering the following features for version two of the deep link generator:

A URL shortener
Cross browser support
Preformed text links based on product data
Linked account reporting features for affiliates with multiple programs

We’d be interested to hear your opinion on which of the above you would find valuable – and if there are additional functionalities you would also like us to consider.

Let us know your thoughts by responding to this post.

Thanks 🙂

  1. I want to be able to create deeplinks for NEXT Ireland products.
    We are launching a blog on to mirror , but whereas is a WordPress site, is an html site built in Dreamweaver, so I need html deeplinks to images I copy from the Next website.
    How do I make links please ?
    Yours, Brian

  2. Hi Brian,

    Deeplinking on affilinet is a standard set-up just by adding our deeplink parameter.

    Take the default homepage link (for example for Next Ireland):

    (This is available after logging in under each program’s information (‘Choose creative’ – ‘Homepage text link’)

    Ref=(Publisher ID)
    Site=(Merchant ID)

    Add the deeplink parameter ( &diurl= ) followed by the destination page as follows:

    Let me know if you have any questions.
