As we say goodbye to 2016 and look forward the year ahead, the affilinet team have put together their goals and predictions for 2017. Find out their thoughts on key treads, goals and more for 2017….
Stephanie Lester, Senior Account Executive
2017 will be all about data and insight. The new tracking and tools that we have launched last year, helps us to take a deeper look into performance and provide our clients with more insights that can be applied as good practices and actions to grow their programmes. I am planning to innovate and think outside the box, always keeping in mind our advertiser’s objectives, which will prove the value that affilinet and us as Account Managers can bring to the table.
Adam Abdo, Senior Account Manager at affilinet, supporting eBay Partner Network
Early 2017 will see the re-launch of eBay Partner Network’s publisher portal. This hub will be a valuable resource for both prospective and existing publishers to access the latest EPN news, tools and program information. Unsurprisingly, mobile growth and optimisation will be a key focus for the coming year. This increasing trend will influence our recruitment strategy as we look to on board and support fast growing partners. In collaboration with the affilinet publisher team, we will also be exploring new publisher relationships whose business model may not fit the traditional affiliate mould.
Helena Barroso Zarco, Account Director
My main objective for 2017 is to improve the activation and engagement of publishers across my team’s programme portfolio, which will result in a clear growth for our clients. We will also work closely with the marketing and publisher team to ensure the best full service to our clients, always going the extra mile. On a personal note, I’m planning to travel even more, so be ready to see me tanned all year around!
Rick Leake, Affiliate Strategy Director
2017 is all about the use of data to drive innovation. I think this year networks will be expected to start utilising the data it has in ways that will provide fresh insight into advertiser’s programmes, be this via device tracking, assist reporting or even cross device. With the rise of Programmatic advertising affiliate needs to keep it’s self ahead of the curve and demonstrate to senior brand marketers that this is still more to come.
Casey O’Neill, Senior Account Manager
In 2017, my main objective is further diversifying my client’s programmes; growing the quantity and quality of our active publisher base and bringing new partners into the mix.
Our new Thomas Cook Connect tool makes it easier than ever for publishers to access great content and keep up to date with what’s going on with Thomas Cook. I hope this will further motivate our existing partners to promote the brand and encourage new publishers to join the programme.
Sophie Parry-Billings, Senior Marketing Manager
My main objective for 2017 is to ensure affilinet’s share of voice continues to increase. As a network we are working on a lot of exciting projects and I want to ensure these are successfully launched to the market over the course of 2017. Next year is our 20th birthday so we will have a lot to celebrate and there is no better time to look towards the future!
