This year saw the return of the Affiliate Summit Europe to London after 11 years. The event was held at the Intercontinental Hotel at the O2 across 6th – 7th February. The two-day conference was packed with speakers, panels and interactive roundtables featuring detailed discussion of the industries trending topics. On the second day of the event the Affiliate Summit Meet Market gave companies from across the industry the opportunity to exhibit their offerings and connect with new partners.
Here is what some of the team had to say about the event:
Jacob Webb, Publisher Account Manager
“This was my first affiliate summit and I really enjoyed it. The keynote presentation from Alex Hunter, Former Head of Online Marketing at Virgin Group was particularly interesting, with him touching on the importance of community in brand image. It was also a great opportunity to network with people from the affiliate business from across the world.”
Eilidh White, Senior Account Manager
“It was exciting to have the European Affiliate Summit being held in London this year. For me it meant that I had the chance to meet people from the affiliate industry from other countries, including Israel and the USA which is unusual to find at a London affiliate conference.
For next year I would suggest that the keynote speech not be put on first as I sadly missed this due to a long wait to check in to the event “
Shruti Jani, Publisher Development Manager
“It was a well-attended event with people from all over the world. The speakers were diverse; however, I wish there were more sessions. It would have been great if the Meet Market had been open both days as we were only able to attend one. Overall, it was interesting to attend and meet new people! The networking events were lots of fun and well organised!”
